The basement room of the Farnhill Methodist Chapel hosted a number of public events, but its principal use was as a Sunday School. Shortly after the Farnhill Methodist Chapel closed its doors in 2015 a group of people from the History Group were allowed into the building to take photographs, which we have added to our archive. Several months later, when the conversion of the building was well underway, another photograph was taken when a large map of the Holy Land was discovered painted on the wall of the basement. Does anyone remember this map being used for teaching purposes ?
